Oz Optics Social Evening and BBQ!

Join us at the OZ Optics Ltd. campus for a great outdoor liscened BBQ, and evening of fun, and socializing. Play soccer, tennis, beach volleyball, basketball or take a swim in the indoor pool at the  OZ Dome sports complex.


Transportation included: pick up by shuttle buses: 17h30 - 19h30
Return: 21h30 - 22h30

Forum on Women in Photonics (limited places)

The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE), IEEE Photonics Society, and the Photonics North organizing committee would like to invite you to participate in the "Forum on Women in Photonics"! 6 panelists will speak about the current and future Photonics industries and the role of women in Photonics.

The event will be held on, Wednesday, June 7, between 12h00 - 13h15 at the Shaw Centre, room 208. The event is open for all! Lunch will provided for registered attendees.

3-Minute Student Poster Presentation
 
The Photonics North Committee have organized a contest giving you the opportunity to make a short (3 minute) Power Point presentation of your poster on Wednesday June 7, at 17:00, just prior to the standard poster session.
 
Winners of the 3-Minute Student Poster Presentation contest will be announced during the Thursday afternoon break.
 
To register for such competition, please send your name and coordinates before June to Mr Robert Corriveau (robert.corriveau@photonscanada.ca).
